Guided tours take place every Saturday and start at 2pm from the Discovery Point. We also run a guided walk from the Discovery Point to Verdant Works, which leaves at 2pm also and is run in conjunction with the Discovery Point.

Welcome to Tayside Historical Tours website. It is the aim of this website to highlight one of the most beautiful areas in Scotland . The website will focus on some of the outstanding historical monuments of the region including hillforts, castles, ecclesiastical sites and houses. And, we will also explain the sometimes romantic and grisly stories that underpin the history of these monuments.
 Tayside Historical Tours organises regular tours of Dundee city centre, as well as tours of historic Angus and Fife . Our guide is a highly qualified and experienced historian who is steeped in the folklore and culture of the local area. The guided walks around Dundee city centre are designed to reveal the history of the city of Discovery by looking at a hidden Dundee , which lies sometimes only a few feet behind the modern façade of the city centre. In this way, the colourful and sometimes bloody history of Dundee will be revealed and explained.
